4 Ways To Overcome The Wrecking Ball In Your Online Business

Writen by Mary Murtha

There are four ways to overcome the "wrecking ball" in your online business but seem to elude the faint hearted. If allowed, it will destroy the very fiber of your being!

I was almost classified in this category. Do you remember the song, "I just wish that I knew what I know now?" I don't remember the artist, but I do remember the catchy tune. Knowing what I know now sure would have saved me a lot of heartache when I was younger.

When I was about ten I remember having a lemonade stand in the middle of fall. It was cold out then and my friends ribbed me so harshly that I almost gave up on my sales escapade. After I stayed outside for an hour or so with no sales money in my little cup, I began to believe what my friends were saying was true.

I guess my father saw my disappointment wrote all over my face through the window because he came out to keep me company. Now I don't know about anyone else's dad, but mine was like Superman in my eyes. Little did I know then pop taught me a few lessons that afternoon about business and life in general.

He sat and talked to me about 4 things I need to know to survive in any type of business. The 4 concepts are actually very simplistic in nature. They are belief, passion, patience, and perseverance.

Dad asked me if I still believe people will come and buy my lemonade. I answered by saying I didn't know but if they were coming, I wished they would come soon. He told me to be patient and they will come. He said for right now, I need to know if you believe they will come or not. Of course I said yes, but I still wasn't sure.

I learned the awesome power of belief that day. I found out that when I truly believed they would show up and buy, I became very passionate about selling. I didn't know the first thing about advertising or marketing like I know today, but I went into the house and began to call some kids in the neighbor. Little did I know, my mother already called their parents.

In the mean time I went back outside, only to find dad ready to tell me a story about some old farmer and his mule. Bet your bottom dollar I wasn't very interested in his story then, but it kicked in about thirty years later. It was a perfect illustration about perseverance.

Pop told me this mule fell in an abandoned well. The farmer attempted its rescue. Unable, he was determined to bury his friend and dumped a load of dirt down the well. That mule kicked, stomped, and snorted, until he stood two feet higher. A few more loads of dirt a lot of kicking, snorting, and stomping down that dirt, the mule walked out on level ground… a survivor!

I bet by now your asking "What in the world does this story have to do with an online business?" It has everything to do with overcoming the wrecking ball!

Unlike the mule, often Internet marketers get caught in a well, but they see no way out so they give up! In actuality, the wrecking ball is a form of self-destruction! It's so deadly! I truly believe this is the reason it is so elusive to the faint hearted. Not practicing these concepts in our business is like inviting a wrecking ball into our minds that can, and will, demolish everything in its path including our self esteem and confidence.

If you are one of the faint hearted, I urge you to keep your chin about you. Try believing that people will buy from you! Once you believe they will come, your passion level will be higher than you can possibly imagine!

Now get out there and advertise the heck out of your product(s). Just don't expect it to happen overnight. It does take hard work. Be persistent and have patience prudence, they will come.

By the way, about that lemonade stand….within a half hour or so people started to come and buy my lemonade. I made $56.30 that day. It may not seem like a lot of money to you, but back then, at ten cents a glass and age 10, it seemed like a goldmine to me.

Building A New Internet Marketing Business

Writen by David Crowton

The benefit of joining a great support forum for people who are starting out in the internet marketing business is priceless. I spent a lot of time trying to find the magic system that would make me an instant success in the internet marketing business. I thought that if I just had another 2,3 or 4 hundred dollars I could achieve success in internet marketing. (it didn't happen and probably never would)

I found that more than 50 percent of these internet marketing products were good for only a couple of things:

1: Getting my money
2: Making someone else rich.

I found a free unlimited resource to tap into. Yes you heard right, FREE! I had found a resource where I could ask questions and get real responses from successful internet marketers that were willing to help me solve my problems and share the ins and outs of how to be successful online. Let me back up a bit. I got into internet marketing about 8 months ago and by good fortune met up with a few really great internet marketers that really enjoyed seeing other people succeed. They had a paying it forward type attitude. It was easy to see that they were so grateful for their success that they were willing to share it with others, with great joy.

The Gentlemen I am speaking of are Richard Driver, Michael Ambrosio and Dennis Wagoner. These men I must say went to great lengths to help me in so many ways and I wish to take this moment to thank them publicly. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN.

Which brings me to why I am writing this article? I am also so grateful for the successes in my life to their helping hands that I want to pay it forward by passing a tip onto you. Please if you are new to internet marketing and you feel like you are drowning in the flood of hype that says "buy this and you will be rich" or "this is the answer to all your problems" Take a moment and join a good internet marketing forum where you can ask "the Professionals" what they think about the products before you throw away you hard earned cash.

I would personally recommend this forum www.somewheresafetolearn.com as it is the newest a hottest forum to join for up to date information on how to be a successful internet marketer. A great newsletter (GPN News) that I personally get alot of useful info from is http://mikeambrosio.com/blog/?p=80 . This is a must for all new marketing professionals.

I wish you the best of success and hope you have fun achieving it.

Best Regards

Make Money While You Sleep

Writen by Angela Wills

So you want to work from home, using the internet, and not have to work 12-16 hour days to make real money. Well, it can be done; some of it even while you sleep! This article will give you an idea of how to start building a business that can run itself while you do things that are important to you.

Here are some tools that will help you grow your business without you having to physically be there working it for it to earn you an income:

1. Autoresponders – Set your business on autopilot with autoresponders! An absolutely amazing tool that will give you so much freedom and flexibility with your business. An autoresponder allows you to set up a sequence of email messages and have them go out automatically anytime someone requests the information from you. This can be used for e-courses, special reports, information, ebooks, follow up sales letters, and more.

2. Websites – Your website needs to let your potential customer know who you are and why they should buy from you. This is your 'storefront' that's on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you set your site up to sell you don't need to be minding the store for people to buy from you.. you could even be sleeping ;)

3. Audio/Video/Pictures – The use of audio, video and pictures on your website and in campaigns can bring you to life, even when you are not there! It makes the reader feel like they know you and they are much more likely to buy what you offer because they trust you.

4. Online Ordering Systems – Having an online order form is a must if you are selling a physical product. People are getting more and more used to shopping online and if you don't have online ordering they'll find someone who does. There are many shopping cart programs out there, some of them free, you will need to find the one that suits you and your business. One I have used for years is Mals-E at www.mals-e.com, it's a great, free shopping cart service for your website.

5. Traffic – You need traffic in order to have a profitable site. Make sure that the traffic you bring to your site is targeted. The more specific you can get about what you have to offer the better. You will be able to attract the right visitors if you tell them what they will find on your site. Don't try to get everyone to your site! It's a waste of time to get visitors to your site if you don't have what they are looking for, make sure you know what they want and give it to them.

If you have no experience with all the tools mentioned above, don't feel like you need to know it all at once. It can seem overwhelming, but just take it slowly and go at your own pace. Start implementing small things every day to get where you want to be.

Finally, when designing your website be sure to think of the end result you are looking for…to provide a site that can function without someone having to be there constantly and slave by the computer all day. You want a business that can virtually run itself so that you are free to do the things you enjoy.

It is possible to make money while you sleep! How much money you make will depend on you. Using the information set out in this article will give you a start on building a business that will run itself while you get a good night's sleep….. :).

Lost Secrets Of Making Money In Todays World Part One

Writen by Trevor Adheen

The first part of this secret is to know value. This is a concept that you should learn from childhood. In the accounting world they call it UNIT COSTING. Once you can assess value to something you'll know what it is worth. When a company buys a product or service it assigns a value to every aspects of that product or service. They know how long it should last and what its residual value is going to be. If you mentally and physically take inventory of your assets you will prevent duplicate buying of commodities. Failing to do so will waste a lot of money because of laziness or carelessness on your part to check what you have available. You must take an active role in valuing what you own. In other words, knowing value starts in your head.

The second part to this secret is to Practice Conservatism. Don't waste. Once you know value you automatically make yourself aware of how worthy something is you care for it and protect it. So, become very concerned and do not waste any asset for that matter Example: If turn on the lighting in your kitchen and walk away for 10-15 minutes without having the concern of burning electricity that adds to your electric bill, then you have not created the awareness of value. If you know value, and practice it, you would turn the light off when you leave and turn it back on when you re-enter the kitchen. Become thrifty. Make this part of your thinking.

Money in general is hard to come by. You have to work very hard to earn money. Most of the time the amount of money you earn are usually not enough to buy all the necessities of life. You may have to take a second or third job to make ends meet. So, this is more than enough a reason to protect your earnings as much as you can. So, the third part of this secret is to develop a strong habit to save money. This habit will prove to be a sound one and serve you well as you grow older and have to shoulder family responsibilities. And, to crown this point, learn how to pay yourself first. By this I mean that from each dollar you earn, assign a portion of it for yourself and put it away safely for a rainy day, right up front. Consciously plan to pay yourself first. I would recommend to save at least 10% of your savings. If you learn value, then this will be a cinch. If you do not practice this, you'll be poor all your life.

There comes a time in your life, sometimes regularly, when you have an unexpected expense. As in the case where your child has the need for braces, had a broken jaw while playing a sport etc., but you are barely making ends meet, then your regular paycheck do not go very far. You are struggling and have to take undue credit to meet those expenses. Before you reach this stage, you must plan ahead to earn more money. This part of this secret then is to create leverage yourself. How? The concept is for you to put in little effort to accomplish something--—provide guidance, direction etc., into some project or program and get part of the action, as payoff …in the form of a percentage of the project revenues---for lifetime or for a negotiated period of time. Many people –entrepreneurs are making six figure incomes from this technique alone. When you click on the link below you will see how easy it is to set up such a system. You'll laugh all the way to the bank—so to speak.

Once you are making leveraged money and your bank account starts to swell, your next step is to reinvest your surplus earnings for the long term. So this part of this secret is to reinvest in yourself. Invest in a long term money fund, or real estate investments, gold coins, antiques etc. The idea is to reinvest in something that grows in value, not depreciates.

Work smart. Not hard. Work less. Make more. You'll have less stress, frustration and aggravation in your life. And, watch your fortune build up FAST, right in front of your eyes that you never though possible.

Click on the link below to see for yourself how these issues I just described: knowing value, saving money, leveraging yourself and reinvesting earnings can reap a lifetime fo fulfilling rewards for you and your family. Why not start right away!

Addon Sales The Key To Success On The Web

Writen by Rick Rouse

Question: Can you guess the cheapest way to make a sale?

Answer: Sell to the customer that just bought from you!

All successful salespeople have one thing in common: They know how to make sales "after the sale". There are many costs associated with finding a buying customer. Selling is not a cheap endeavor. This is why it makes sense to really go after add-on sales.

For example, if you have ever purchased a new computer, you probably noticed how before you left the store the salesperson had "helped you decide" to purchase a surge suppressor or extra ink for your printer. Maybe even an extended warranty for your new PC.

These add-ons probably doubled the store's profits (and the salesperson's commission) from the original sale. Without paying for any extra advertising or promotion, that $1000 sale may have easily turned into $1300-$1400!

You may be asking "Can I do this on the web?". The answer is of course you can. In fact, making add-on sales from your website is much easier than it is for a brick and mortar store.

There are actually two excellent methods of making add-on sales from your web site:

1 - Suggest options and accessories on the order confirmation page. Remember the printer and ink example? If your customer is ready to pay for a new printer, display a "suggestion box" on the side of the page reminding him to add an extra ink cartridge to the shopping cart. And don't forget the cable!

2 - You can also make an add-on sale AFTER the sale! After the order is completed and processed, the customer should be taken directly to a "thank you" page. On this page you'll thank the customer for giving you his business.

This is also a great time to ask if he forgot anything and give him the option of returning to your products page. Or simply advertise a related but completely different product. After all, he is already motivated to buy (he just did) and most likely he still has his credit card in hand!

Always remind the customer that he will save money with multiple item discounts and combined shipping charges. Ask for the add-on sales and boost your bottom-line!

4 12 Strategic Tips For Making Money Online More Quickly

Writen by Todd Todd

Strategic Tip #1: Plan to work hard.

I know, this goes against everything you hear but deep down you know that nothing worthwhile is easy right?

You also know that getting anything done quickly just takes more work.

Even cleaning out the garage, yeah you could take your time and get it done over a weeks time, or else you could work your butt off and have it finished and be sitting right back down on the couch watching your favorite reruns.

To get things done quicker you just have to put in the extra hard work, but when the checks start rolling in, all your work will be worthwhile.

By the way, if you do things right, one of the beautiful things about the internet is that the work you do today will pay off for months and hopefully years after.

Just like that clean garage you'll have.

Strategic tip #2: Find ONE good teacher.

Let me just emphasize "one". Bouncing around from teacher to teacher, product to product is THE biggest mistake that new hopeful internet marketers make.

However, find a mentor/teacher that's reputable.

You can go to the different marketing forums and ask around, and you'll get some honest answers.

Just beware of anyone trying to sell themselves. The great teachers don't have to do this in forums.

Once you find them, stick to their strategies and you'll be way better off than most people who are still playing the bouncy game.

Some marketers I recommend you follow are:

  • Jimmy D. Brown

  • Jim Edwards

  • John Vallaries

  • Yanik Silver

  • John Reese

But just pick one, and stick with them.

Strategic Tip #3: Research and target a hungry niche that's got as little competition as possible.

I'm not going to say a whole lot about this. It's very basic but not quite easy.

Everything will have some competition, which is good. This means there's money to be made.

But best thing I can tell you is to find a hungry crowd, and feed it.

A great place to start your research is Ebay. Also, magazine stands, Amazon.com, Froogle. You get the picture.

Also Google the phrase: "Finding a Niche Market". You'll be reading for days.

    Some examples would be:

  • Pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish, etc.)

  • Finance (credit card debt, mortgage guide)

  • Computers (buyers guides, games, software)

  • And a lot of success is found in the Health Niche (weight loss, cellulite, diabetes, quit smoking, etc.)

Strategic Tip #4: Pick the low hanging fruit.

What does that mean. That means go for the easiest stuff first.

Here's what happens. You find a teacher who claims to be a guru.

Not knowing since you're just starting out that they don't have much more of a clue than you do, they tell you to pick your favorite hobby, write an ebook on it, create a website with a "killer sales page", and you'll make a million bucks before you can say B.S.

Now tell me this, how long is it going to take you to write an ebook.

Most people don't know how to write to save themselves, or some do, but are so intimidated by the thought that they never even start, and that ends their online career before it's ever gotten started.

Or lets say that you did manage to choke out an ebook.

Now you have to design the website, and then and here's the hard part…. you have to write that "killer sales page".

Neither of which is anything close to easy if you've never done it.

Yes, you can slap together a website fairly quickly these days, that's true, but the sales page is where the trouble begins.

It takes years to develop that skill just to get to be mediocre.

So where is the low hanging fruit then?

Well, there are a couple choices. The first and probably best choice is affiliate programs.

Listen; nearly every good niche you can think of has an ebook written on the subject somewhere, the best place in which to look is Clickbank.

There are thousands of products there, which usually offer a nice commission, sometimes up to 75%, that are just looking for someone to sell for them.

    Now here's the kicker.

These products all already have a nice sales page written and all that you have to do is drive traffic to the sales page, they close the sale, and BAM! You get paid.

    Very simple.

Not as easy as it seems, but very simple.

    That's your low hanging fruit.

Strategic Tip # 4 1/2. Resale Rights =Low Hanging Fruit with 100% Commission.

I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't mention Resale Rights.

    What are Resale Rights Products.

This is where you simply buy the rights to sale a product that's already created, and usually includes a sales page (I wouldn't recommend buying one that doesn't if you're just beginning)

You then keep all the profits.

These days Resale Rights membership sites are popping up all over the place.

This is where you pay a small monthly fee, and get new products created for you every single month.

The great thing about this is that most of the time they do the research and create the products about topics that are in high demand.

Sometimes you can even do as you please with the finished product, chopping it up or adding to it to make it more your own style, and to ensure there is nothing duplicated out there.

These are called Private Label Resale Rights.

You can use this material for blogging, creating a newsletter, content website, or any number of things.

The downfall is finding quality products but they are definitely out there, it just takes time and effort to search them out.

So, there you have it in a nutshell. Following these tips should put you closer to making money online a little more quickly

Todd Todd makes a decent living from the internet with his two
little ones usually residing on his lap.

Want To Make Millions On the Internet? Try Niche Marketing!

Many people prospecting for riches on the internet these days are like the forty-niners of old in the 1800's. They hear a cry of Gold!! and they rush like lemmings in the direction of the cry, only to find other lemmings there, cannibalizing each other and driving themselves off the cliff. In short, they rush blindly to an empty spot, realizing its empty only after they have wasted their time and money.

How easier could it be if you found someone who had already found gold and has a roadmap for you to find gold too and all the little secrets. that's what i found recently and I am sharing it with all frustrated internet marketing prospectors out there. The secret?....... Niche Marketing!

Think of a Niche as a specialized area or interest within a larger interest. Many people are interested in football. a niche area in football will be fantasy football or pee-wee football. If you have a football related product that might interest fantasy football enthusiasts, its easier to sell to a pre-qualified group of these enthusiasts than people only interested in the Super Bowl for instance. Therein lies the power of Niches!

They are a group of hungry fishes and its easy to find out where they hang out and its your gateway to making millions on the internet! What do you do now? Find them and here is how:

There are 3 big steps to take.

    1. Find the niche you want to market to. Make sure you pick a hot niche. You find this out by doing searches on sites like Overture and Google.

    2. Find out what they want and if they are willing to pay for it.

    3. Put together or find a product to sell to them. That's all there is to it.

To find niche markets, you can go to Clickbank.com and research their site for hot niche markets, read magazines to find out the it thing of the moment, read direct mail etc., after you have done your research, develop your product which can be an original one, or you can sell someone else's already hot product.

Whatever you sell, original or not, sell to people already wanting that service because people pay for convenience! They will pay money for what helps them do what they are interested in better, faster and more efficiently.

A little homework gives you the edge and its all public information. To find out more about the real nuts and bolts of niche marketing, you can go here =>http//:www.internetprofitmentor.com

9 Secrets To Kick Your Internet Marketing Efforts Into Overdrive

    Writen by Cecil Anderson

Let's face it, most of us know the basics of Internet Marketing or how to promote websites and products on the Internet. There are plenty of ebooks on the subject if you aren't familiar. In this article however, I want to give you 9 juicy secrets that I have discovered from my own Internet marketing experience.

These Internet marketing secrets are not a replacement of the basics of website promotion. You will want to use these 9 tips in addition to pay per click advertising, having an affiliate program for your website, offering a free newsletter, and search engine marketing.

Use these website promotion tips below and success will surely follow.

    1. Add a valuable resource to your website that will attract your target market. A great example of this is my website GameSecretsExposed.com . My target market is people who play xbox, ps2, and gamecube video games. When I added a free game codes section I was able to attract more video gamers from the search engines. This technique not only gave me loads of traffic but it also kept people coming back to my website. The same could work for you by adding an article directory to your website or some sort of free tutorials pertaining to the market that you want to reach.

    2. Write articles pertaining to the subject of your website or product and post them to various online article directories. This not only means that you will get hundreds of websites linking back to yours but you will also get the benefit of free traffic, a higher search engine ranking for various key terms, and more opportunities for people wanting to join your affiliate program.

    3. Write an ebook and give it away with resale rights and or giveaway rights. Encourage your customers or newsletter subscribers to sell or give an ebook away with their own branded affiliate link to your website. Use this Internet marketing technique and your ebooks will eventually get passed around thousands of times.

    4. Give out a website toolbar or piece of software that is a valuable resource to your website visitors. You can get a programmer to design a toolbar for your website or buy a toolbar creator program. Make the toolbar easy to update so that you can notify people of new resources or newsletter updates for your website. This one idea gives me 100s of repeat visitors a month.

    5. Add a forum to your website. Create sections for topics that your visitors are interested in discussing. This will encourage repeat website visitors. Forums are also a great source for producing free content for your website which search engines love.

    6. Go to PrWeb.com and write a simple Press Release describing the benefits of your website. When you write your Press release be sure to add relevant keywords in the title and body of the article. If your press release is properly optimized for search engines, you could get ranked high for various key terms. You may even attract news organizations who will want to publish an article on your website.

    7. Contact news reporters to run a news story or review of your website or product. I got lucky a year ago when a reporter from the Universal Press Syndicate did a review on my GameSecretsExposed.com ebook. The review was a great source of web site traffic and brand awareness.

    8. Get free viral traffic from ebay. Use tip #3 in this article and sell your ebooks with resale rights on Ebay. Make sure that you have links to your website included in the ebook. Eventually, you will get hundreds of other ebay sellers promoting your website for you.

    9. Start a Blog. Go to Blogger.com or Blogspot.com and open a free account. List the blog for free at my.yahoo.com. Post your articles to your blog and encourage your website visitors to subscribe and read the latest news regarding your websites topic. This helps to attract the search engines and gets you repeat visitors to your website.

And there you have it. Use these 9 secrets and you will kick your Internet marketing efforts into overdrive.

Why Have An Internet Marketing Business

    Writen by Murray Hughes

"The Internet Gold Rush is under way" Bill Gates, chairman Microsoft Corporation.

Early settlers understood if you are going to build a community, build it near a permanent, abundant source of fresh water. And that's why in all countries around the world, communities were built around streams, rivers and lakes. That's good common sense.

Now let's apply that same wisdom to developing a business.

If you are going to develop a work from home business, develop it near a permanent (or long term), abundant source of cash flow. You'd agree with that wouldn't you? Again that's good common sense.

More succinctly, you identify where huge amounts of money are being spent in a growing industry with good long term prospects.

The Internet complies with these criteria better than any other industry in history. Gold, silver, coal, oil, LPG have all been massive industries but you either had to leave home to stake your claim, invest more than the average person could ever afford before even seeing your first dollar, the resource dried up and the opportunity ended or the industry became obsolete.

If current Internet and e-commerce trends continue, which at the moment there appears to be no reason why they wouldn't, indeed a new age in consumerism has arrived. The statistics speak for themselves.

[U.S. online retail sales are expected to reach $65 billion in 2004, and will continue to grow by a compound annual growth rate of 17 percent through 2008 to top $117 billion, according to a report issued from Jupiter Research.

"Market Forecast: U.S. Retail 2004-2008," the growth in online retail will be due in part to new online buyers, not just veterans, who have come to embrace the medium. Jupiter expects that the online buying population will grow by 14 percent in 2004, representing 30 percent of the U.S. population. By 2008, one-half of the population will make purchases online.

Online retail growth will be fueled by another factor: increased average spending per buyer. In 2004, online buyers are expected to spend an average of $585 person, up from $540 per buyer in 2003. That trend in higher spending is expected to increase over the next five years: Through 2008, average spending per buyer will be close to $780 per buyer.] Taken from an article by Laura Rush, Clickz.com

They are extremely promising statistics and the implications for those of us who are creating an Internet presence now are profound. If you are able to develop an effective Internet marketing business now, your income could grow at a compound rate for the next several years.

There are additional reasons why now is the perfect timing for starting an Internet marketing home business:

The industry has already been successfully pioneered and many of those that trail blazed before you have made available, information about every imaginable facet of Internet marketing. See Internet marketing courses at http://www.007workfromhome.com/internet-marketing-courses.php

Building and developing web sites no longer requires you to learn HTML code. There are several software products that make building web sites easy and enjoyable.

Making your site available on the Internet for other people to visit is very cheap. For example, buying a name can cost less than $6/year (if you know where to go, see cheap domain names) and having it available on the Internet can cost as little as $7 to $8 per month or even cheaper if you're prepared to settle for lower quality standards.

There are hundreds of pre-packaged, ready to go work from home business opportunities that don't require you to build anything. They provide training, resources, web sites and support. Unfortunately, a lot of them are not worth your time. See The Best Work From Home Business Opportunities for the programs that I personally endorse at: http://www.007workfromhome.com/work-from-home-business-opportunity-recommendations.php

You have immediate access to a world-wide market; over 729.2 million (March 2004).

If you sell a digital product distributions costs are practically zero (amazing isn't it!)

Profit margins are very, very high; levels unheard of in the traditional business world.

Your number 1 salesman (your web site) will never take a holiday, working day after day 24/7 for a little at $8/month!

There is no better time than now to begin your business and change the course of the rest of your life. Every journey begins with the first step but no one can take it for you.

    Take action now.

How To Guarantee Your Success In Internet Marketing

    Writen by Daegan Smith

Successful internet marketing is the goal of every one who sees potential in the online world. They believe that there is a surefire method with which they can execute fault-free marketing strategies that never fail.

    This is a myth.

However there really is a way to guarantee success in internet marketing. But this method will shock many.

To have guaranteed success in internet marketing you must never be afraid to fail. When you do fail, pick you self up and learn from you mistakes then try again. Marketing is a hit and miss affair. Being aware of this opens up the avenue for success without limit.

Internet Marketing (Internet + Marketing) Before jumping into using the various internet tools available to promote you products, you must have a firm grasp of the essentials of marketing. If you do not, your marketing strategy will become like spam to the potential customer.

    1. Belief in the Product

To sell a product you have to believe in it. Or at least know it intimately enough to be able to market it properly. If you fail to do this you will not be able to pitch the product convincingly. You must be totally familiar with the details of the product or service. If this is not so, you will not be able to satisfy the curiosity of the potential customer.

Avoid over pitching a product. Doing so makes the product seem phony and contrived. Ultimately, the potential customer will skip your ad to look for better offers.

    2. Always make your Ads believable

People usually know whether they are being presented the truth or are being lied to. Although there are many legitimate online ads and business on the internet, phony, hokey, and deceptive one also abound. Many potential customers are tentative when dealing online because they fear that they may be taken advantage of by unscrupulous online scams.

Do a case study. Go through the many ads that litter the internet. Find five ones that are dubious and five ones that seem legitimate. Now study their differences. There will be a noted difference in the language they use, the tone they use, and other differences you find in them.

Try to emulate the style of the reputable businesses on the internet.

    3. Be aware of the marketing techniques that abound on the internet Do you know what mailing lists are, and how they can help increase your business? Have you seen how viral marketing has been used by some of the biggest companies in the United States? Have you considered paid ads and Search Engine Optimization to drive traffic to your website?

These techniques all have their pros and cons. It would do well if you considered which combinations would have an optimum effect on your business marketing.

    4. Build a Good Reputation

Nothing beats a good name. And nothing makes a good name than a happy customer.

Strive to make every customer a happy customer. You may have a few sore ones here and there but the way you handle them will tell whether you are building a good name or not. Always make sure you deliver your promises on time, in great quality and with a generous smile.

Always build relationships with customers. Don't employ the hit and run technique of marketing. The marketing does not end when the sale is made. It is only the continuation of a cycle that will bring much benefit to both business and consumer.

    5. Personal Touch

People are people. They do not like to be treated as robots. Since these are beings with flesh and blood and emotions, make sure you deal with them in that manner.

As much as possible, build great customer relationships among your consumer base. This will make them feel part of your business.

    6. Allocate Resources

Some marketers commit the extreme folly of thinking that marketing costs nothing. Of course it costs something! It costs money, time, effort, and good judgment. If one does not allocate these resources for this activity. The quality of marketing will suffer.

Be confident! Competence builds confidence. Like it was said earlier, always maintain a positive outlook. Learn from mistakes (others mistakes, more preferably). And keep trying! Success is just within your reach!

    Email Quottoll Boothsquot Coming Soon

    Writen by Jim Edwards

The end of the free ride for email marketing looms on the horizon.

The days of building up or buying a big email list and freely using it to market and sell online are numbered like the dinosaurs heading for an ice age cold snap.

The technical and time costs of dealing with email traffic (primarily driven by rampant illegal spam) will soon break the back of both Internet service providers (ISPs) and online email services.

Major online players like AOL and MSN are currently wrestling with two solutions to the problem, but I personally think the almighty dollar will win out in the end.

The two solutions proposed to stem the tide of commercial spam once and for all revolve around either "white listing" email senders or charging a "toll" (typically .25-1 cent per email message) to allow email through.

Currently, ISPs and email providers can either maintain their own white lists, as in the case of AOL, or the can share one.

In the "old" days, companies could (and still do) subscribe to "black lists" (like SpamHaus.org) which exclude email senders based on reports of spamming and other factors.

Though the "black list" method rates the least accurate, it's currently the most popular simply because it requires the least effort by companies trying to block spam.

However, as spammers get smarter, black listing has proven an ineffective spam deterrent and ISPs must get proactive if they hope to survive.

However, an inherent weakness in the "white list" system makes charging for commercial email inevitable.

Since white listing requires effort on the part of the ISP or email provider (they must ultimately pay real people to manage the list), this means additional cost.

Unlike a relatively inexpensive subscription to a "black list service" which gets implemented automatically by software filters, white listing requires people to do work which carries a real world cost.

Bottom line: most ISPs and email services will not be able to create, maintain or implement a white list for very long without charging.

Yet, consumers tired of the avalanche of spam are demanding effective protection by those they pay for Internet and email access.

Thus, any service hoping to survive long-term must adopt a hybrid of both the white list and "toll booth" approaches.

This means not only evaluating the legitimacy of every commercial email sender's methods, but also charging them for the email they send through a particular service or network. It's inevitable.

Now, the cry that immediately goes up at this point sounds like this, "What about the "little guys" who can't afford to pay the fee or the family newsletters that aren't commercial? What about them?"

In a perfect world, their email would go through.

In the real world, their email will get lost even more frequently in the future than it does now in the existing tangle of email filters and inconsistent white and black listing.

The hope of survival and prosperity for the "little guy" lies squarely in the hands of blogging and RSS feeds.

Since blogging and rss feeds enable consumers to subscribe directly to information using an RSS "reader," they completely bypass the need to send email.

This eliminates the "middle man" of an email provider and puts control over what content gets received squarely in the hands of the consumer.

Though this technology has existed for several years now, awareness by mainstream consumers of what RSS feeds are and how to subscribe to them has been relatively slow.

The biggest contributor to the slow adoption in the mainstream has been the absence of a universally distributed RSS "reader" on every computer (similar to how Outlook or Outlook Express on every Windows PC helped make email universally understood).

But that should also change shortly as more RSS readers get included in Web browsers and email programs in the near future.

So while the "big guys" will push their messages to consumers by paying what will surely amount to an ever- increasing "toll" to get their emails through, the "little guys" will "pull" consumers to them with subscriptions to blogs and RSS feeds.

Whether it happens this year, next year, or the year after - make no mistake - the email "toll booth" is coming for commercial emailers and newsletter publishers.

So, if you depend on sending email for your company's profits, either get ready, plan, and budget for the new tolls, or start making arrangements to distribute your content via blogs and RSS feeds, because the market will shortly force you to make a choice.

Seven Ways To Generate Income From Your Website

    Writen by John Purdy

If you own your own website, there are a variety of things you can do to generate extra income for yourself. To enjoy the most success for your efforts, you must take into consideration your existing website content, as well as your particular target audience. You will also want to know the approximate number of visitors you regularly receive to your website.

Once you have this information, you can decide which idea (or ideas) will apply best to you:

    1. Include Google Adsense on your web pages. Google delivers text and image ads that are targeted to your site and its content. When people click on an ad, you will receive a portion of the amount paid to Google by the advertiser. On average, you can expect to receive anywhere between 2 cents to a dollar per click, depending on the keyword.

    2. Make money selling other people's products and services through affiliate programs. Each program you register for should provide you with an affiliate link to track your referrals. Depending on the program, you will normally be paid on a per sale basis or for each sign-up you generate.

    3. Sell advertising space on your web site. You could sell banner and/or classified ads. If you want to make additional money, sell sponsor ads and place them is a special section or towards the top of your website for the most exposure.

    4. If you have enough web space available on your server, you could rent web pages to other people. You could also give the web pages away for free, but include your banner or advertisement on them to generate income for yourself.

    5. Charge people a fee to access a dedicated part of your website. People will pay you money for your website content if it's valuable to them. The content can be ebooks, reports, software, etc.

    6. Sell your own products or services. Of course, they should be related to your target audience. You will also want the ability to securely accept credit card payments directly from your website. Other forms of payment such as PayPal, ClickBank, etc. is also preferred. Delivery of your product should be as fast as possible.

    7. Publish an e-zine from your website. Have people subscribe to the e-zine right from your web site. In addition to direct sales of products or services you are promoting, you could sell classified or sponsor advertising inside your e-zine.

Each of these ideas will generate income, but if you are a new website owner, I recommend starting with Google Adsense. These ads continue to grow in popularity and are easy to customize and install on your web pages–simply copy and paste a block of HTML.

For new internet home business entrepreneurs, in addition to Google Ads, you should also consider affiliate programs. Most affiliate programs are free to join and usually offer marketing tools and resources that are readily available for your use.

    Niche Marketing Where Is It

    Writen by Oze Parrot

The principles of Niche Marketing are based on sound business practices that have been studied and tested in past years by some of the world's most successful marketers.

I intend to set out for you the knowledge and tools that you will need to determine niche product ideas, study them, select a suitable product, develop the product, profit from the marketing of the product and then duplicate your success in another niche product.

    What is a niche market?

A niche market is a group of people that have a need for a certain product that is not popular amongst the majority of consumers but whose demand warrants a continuous, substantial supply of the said particular product.

To put it simply, it is like selling golfing requisites.

Let's say that all the products that you sell are golfers needs, golf clubs, golf balls and accessories. The only people who buy your goods are the ones that play golf.

Then it follows that golfers are your niche market.

Should you choose to expand your product list and market other articles to a broader market then certainly you may attract new customers however your marketing competitors will increase substantially.

Niche Marketing is most beneficial to the small business owner as, generally, he does not have the resources to cater for the masses and, more importantly, the larger corporations tend to ignore the niche markets.

The larger corporations overlook the niche markets because they are not concerned with making an extra $5,000 to $10,000 a month, they are looking at turning over millions of dollars per month from a huge market place.

To attract customers to a particular niche market you will have to satisfy a few requirements.

Can people readily define your product and realize the benefits?

    Where are the customers?

Do they select a particular advertising medium? Are they members of a certain club or organization? What are their online habits?

Can you make a make a profit from this market and is there a limited amount of competition?

Are there enough product consumers available to sustain your business

Does the market have enough disposable income to purchase your product?

Are there any other sites selling similar products to this market?

    Are these sites popular?

Is this market group passionate about the product.

Is it a hobby that controls their lifestyle?

You must look for a product that will enthrall people so much that they must obtain all the information that pertains to their chosen endeavor.

Musicians, for instance, must have instruments and accessories, sheet music, song words, sound equipment, speakers amplifiers, microphones . . . it goes on.

Quothow To Make Money Onlinedriving Your Carquot

    Writen by George Papazoglou

Here's an alluring income generating strategy, that's widely adopted by top MLM Agents, Small Firms, Entrepreneurs and Marketers in virtually any field of industry. It still amazes me how most Internet entrepreneurs overlook this 'no-cost', powerful, free-advertising system, which is...

To Making Money Driving your Car with ID Plates!

The potential of free advertising using car plates is widely adopted by small firms to gigantic corporations. You can promote any kind of opportunity, or your own business with ID Plates. It is projected that an ID car plate can generate as many as 5000 new customers per year.

Hint: If you promote an affiliate program, you still can capitalize on ID plates by redirecting prospective visitors to a profitable merchant via your web site. All you have to do next is create an ID Plate by identifying it with your own URL. Better register a unique web site to track the success of your 'boulevard campaign';-)

Think about it... your online business will harness cost-free solid advertising, as drivers will consistently 'observe' your web site promoted as you drive your car, park and even at traffic jams or stoplights.

You could register a web site that intrigues *curiosity*; a URL that's short and memorable to fully exploit this awesome promotion technique. After all, gigantic corporations like IBM, Microsoft and thousands of small businesses utilize this marketing concept -- why not you?

In fact, one of my most lucrative marketing programs, promotes its' conceptual 90% with ID Plates ( you can find it at: http://cash-checks.com?ar ). Don't take this offline marketing strategy for granted -- you could generate an extra 4-6-figure income annually, even without an advertising budget.

Brand your business with every 'viral technique' you can think of -- "leave no stone unturned". In plenty of circumstances, your customers 'frequent-by' even in the most unsuspected places... so,'ID Plate' your roadway to the bank!

How To Create An Automated Income Producer

    Writen by Dan Farrell

One of my favorite net marketing tasks is creating a FREE report or e-course and watching it fill with subscribers on an autoresponder.

You might not realize that this is one of the easiest and best methods of selling your products or affiliate products because you develop a rapport or relationship with your subscribers by giving them quality information. Remember its quality not necessarily quantity that will endear or at least brand yourself as someone they come to know and respect.

So how do you create an e-course that, once its uploaded to your autoresponder, is a forget and walk away list builder?

Heres the way I do it, at least most of the time :o)

    1. Pick a subject you know a little about and research it to see if there is a demand or need to know. The best way to research for a subject is to visit the discussion boards or forums. Do a search on Google for the subject, for instance, if you were interested in writing about poodles, you might search for "dog discussion groups". See what poeple are talking about and what concerns, problems and issues they have with poodles or maybe another type of dog.

Next, after determining their is a need for this information, you can start writing or do a search for other articles, reports on poodles to get ideas and content. You dont want to just copy/paste from an article as that is plagiarism or infringement of copyrights. You can rearrange or change the wording so that it is distinctly different and use that content. Or you can ask the author for permission to use his article, with or without any resource box.

    2. Now that you have at least one message or lesson completed, you need to set up your autoresponder. If you dont have one, there are a lot of them online, and Ive used many and can tell you that some are good and some Are bad and some so-so. One I use is IsoResponder and it has many good features like a 2,000 subscriber import per day, personalization, tracking how many many opened your email message, a very fast support system and much more.

Basically, you want one that allows unlimited lists, unlimited imports and double opt in subscription (that means the subscriber has to confirm their subscription before they are added. With the CAN-SPAM Act you must be very careful and protect yourself from being accused of spamming. By double opt ins you get the IP # and date they subscribe which will be enough evidence to counter any false accusation.

Because each a/r is set up differently, you will need to read the instructions on how to set it a new list.

Once you a/r has you first message uploaded, with personalization so that the subscribers first name is used in the message, you are ready to begin building your subscriber base.

    3. Building Your List

Depending on your a/r you can build your subscriber base in three ways.

Create a form that you insert on your web page. Remember to create the thank you page which the subscriber will be re-directed to automatically after filling in the form. Make it simple, "Thank you for your subscription and look for the first lesson in your email box in the next minute or so" is all you need. Don't try to sell them or they will probably be turned off and unsubscribe or just ignore your future ads. If the a/r has this feature, use the email link in your signatures, on your web pages, in your ads. The third way is to buy leads andimport them into your a/r. This is a great way of quickly building your list, but you need to make sure the leads are fresh, come with an IP # and date of subscription.

I like to create a new lesson or report every day until I have at least 7. If its an e-course then you send out your lessons every day, but if its a report or other message, then space them out to every other day...at least. You don't want them to think you are hammering them with ads.

    4. Your Ads

I like to call my ad in each lesson, This Lesson Is Sponsored By. Most readers aren't turned off by this one ad as they are with the lesson sprinkled with ads and your affiliate links. Make the sponsor something that is related to your topic. In the case of the poodle e-course you wouldn't want to sell bird food :o) Dog biscuits, poodle trimming tools, or flea powder would be on target. If you don't have a product to sell, go to Commission Junction, Linkshare or BeFree.com which lists 100s of affiliate products and its fr.ee to join. Or do a search on the search engines.

Keep building your e-courses and reports and watch your sales and income soar!

Ways To Improve And Make Money From Your Newsletter

    Writen by Justine Curtis

Our last three newsletters have covered the hot topic of email newsletters and their importance: Keeping Your Customers Informed, How to Build Your Subscriber List, and How To Write Your Newsletter. If you're new to our newsletter or have missed out on any of these editions, to view the complete series see the link at the end of this article.

So having accepted the importance of producing an email newsletter, you've begun to establish your subscriber list and have started writing, or gathering content for it, how are you going to improve and make money from your publication? This month we are going to tackle Ways to Improve and Make Money from your Newsletter.

    Getting Your Newsletter Delivered

The first issue is to make sure that your subscribers are opening your newsletters. It may sound obvious, they've subscribed to receive this free but valuable information of course they'll open and read it, right? Wrong! There's a whole host of delivery issues that can stop them.

This can be a particular problem if you are using an html template style email as opposed to a plain text version. You may need to educate your readers about the need to add trusted senders to their address books as it is a fact that many email programmes and email address providers wont display the html content of emails sent by sources not in the recipients address book. Some won't even include the html by default even if you are in their address book! Unless your subscribers have added you to their address book, there's a good chance they won't see your HTML graphics and if your important text is contained within a graphic, they may therefore not see any part of it.

    So what should you do?

Well, you have a few options:

    · Determine whether HTML is a must-have. Do your subscribers really prefer HTML in their email, or is that just what your creative department would prefer?

    · If you must send HTML email, offer subscribers a choice between HTML and text only, if at all possible.

    · Educate subscribers to add you to their address books. Include this message on the subscription page and in your confirmation email. Also make it part of your template, near the unsubscribe link, e.g.: "To unsubscribe - Click here!" "To make sure that you keep receiving our valuable publication - Add us to your address book!"

    · Be absolutely sure, if you send HTML email, all CAN-SPAM compliance items, such as the opt-out link and postal address, will appear properly and in a readable format, regardless of whether the recipient reads the email with HTML rendering turned on.

    · As a back up, why not add your newsletter to your web site and follow up your normal newsletter mail-out a day or two later with a short "In case you missed this months issue…" message, using plain text and including a link to your latest edition as posted on your web site.

So once you've made every effort to make sure your subscribers are receiving your newsletter, you just have to make sure they want to open it.

    Getting Your Newsletter Opened

All that your subscribers will initially see in their inbox is the sender address (yours) and the subject line of the email. This tiny line of text has a powerful job to do and all without the benefit of colour, graphics, or different fonts.

Make sure your subject lines are relevant to your readers and create some sense of urgency or curiosity to encourage your readers to open them. For example used timed offers, information that is time critical or make them feel that they could be missing out on something important. For example:

"Tickets for (your event) are selling out fast. Have you got yours yet?"

"Top 10 Reasons to Attend (your event)"

"Are You Ready For (your event)"

Once your subscribers have received and opened your email, it's important you get the welcome message right.

    Getting the Welcome Message Right

The welcome message contained within the first few lines of your email should support your brand and provide the reader with information about the contents of the current edition of the newsletter. It can also be a great marketing tool, an effective way to jumpstart the development of an ongoing business relationship.

As well as advising your readers what this edition is about, use this as an opportunity to point readers back to your Web site. Provide a link and a reason. A content or informational web site can discuss how frequently it's updated. If you're an e-commerce site, mention something special about your site in a feature/benefit manner to encourage them to visit now, and often in the future. Another idea is to offer an incentive. Provide a link to get a special report at no charge or offer a discount on a purchase in the near future. The goal is to get readers back to the site and into the habit of visiting regularly.

Properly planned and executed, your welcome message can serve as not only a reference point for readers but also a great sales and advertising device.

Search Engine Marketing Benefits of an Email Newsletter

An email newsletter from your company is a powerful marketing tool. We've already suggested that you archive your newsletter on your web site to aid those who lose access to it through over-zealous html filters. But you should also archive it as valuable content as not only does it position your company as a source of expert advice, but it can double as a means of building both links to your web site and onsite content, both key factors in high search engine rankings.

    Increasing Quality Web Site Content

Your email newsletter archive, as it grows, creates a pool of information that's directly related to your products or services. The key words and phrases in your articles relate directly to what you sell, and as you add more pages to the archive, you increase the chances that one of the pages from your website will appear in the search engines results.

It's vital that you maintain search engine marketing best practices while creating your archive. This includes, but is not limited to, creating keyword rich urls (use the article title, which should be keyword rich in its own right), making all archive pages static rather than dynamic, using your keyword rich article title in archive page title tags, and using keywords in all the link text.

Remember to include at least one link to your home page or related site page from every page in your email newsletter archive.

    Tempt the Search Engine Robots

Search engine robots return more frequently to regularly updated pages. This means that if you update your homepage with a paragraph or two from your most recent article robots will notice and begin to crawl your front page more regularly.

These regular visits mean that search engines will become aware of other site changes too, and means that your presence in the their indices will be fresh.

    Link Building

Links remain a principle means by which some search engines determine both value and relevance of a site for given search terms. Remember to encourage people to link to your article (it's also wise to include a "send this article to a friend" function). It's also a good idea to syndicate your articles for use by other publishers as they will include your article in full, with all links intact, along with your author bio and links at the end of your article in order to comply with copyright rules. Syndicating your newsletter also means that you will be reaching an extended audience and may well attract new customers and/or subscribers to your newsletter.

Your readers will reward a consistent publication schedule and quality, solid content by increasing their open rates. Once you've got them to open your newsletter and read the content you have very opportunity to redirect them back to your web site and extend all kinds of rewards and special offers.

    Selling Advertising

When you have a large subscriber base, you can also offer advertisers space within your publication. There are several ways you can do this. If you offer a text only newsletter you can break the article in half and insert a text advert in between the content. If you are using html format, you can include banners in your newsletter. You can also write articles tailor made to sell a specific third party product to your customers but make sure it is always be useful and relevant to them and appropriate to the usual content of your newsletter.

You could also offer to write a review of the product for the advertiser but if you are endorsing the product, make sure you have tried it out first!

How To Create Niche Information Products At No Cost To You

    Writen by Mark Kessler

So you've found yourself a niche market? That's great! Now you need to start making money with it.

The beauty about niche marketing is there are so many ways to make money, no matter which niche you are in. There are tons of products you can produce, and luckily, these products are usually pretty simple to put together.

If you are stuck on ideas for products you can produce, at no costto you for your niche market, check out these four to help get your creativity flowing...

    1) Ebooks - This is probably the most common type of product people create today. Ebooks are simply books in electronic format (usually a PDF file), but they aren't like the books you find in a bookstore. The most profitable ebooks are those that offer highly specific information on how to solve a very specific problem.

Even if there are several Ebooks about your niche, it won't be filled with the exact same information. Everyone has their own unique spin of looking at and how to solve specific problems. No two are ever the same. This type of specialization is what makes ebooks so valuable to the buyer.

Check out http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp to create PDF documents on the fly — for Free!

    2) MP3 audio recordings - Another easy to make information product for any niche market are MP3 audio training programs. To make these, you can either record your own voice as you share a valuable piece of information, or you can record yourself while interviewing someone else as you discuss as important topic. Here's a tip on free software to record. Go to http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ and download to your computer. Then go to http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&i=lame-mp3 for how to turn your recording into an MP3.

Another concept would be to hold a live teleconference with a "big name" in your market (niche) and sell recordings of it after the teleconference is over. Go to http://www.gizmoproject.com/ It's new free software that lets you make free phone calls and record them.

    3) Video training - With the widespread broadband internet access these days, online videos are becoming quite popular. You can record "how to" videos on topics such as "How to use xxxxx software program" or "How to find the best deals on xxxxx on the Internet". There are software programs out there that will allow you to record your computer screen, then convert the recording into a file for people to download on the Internet. This makes for a high perceived value information product, and to most people's surprise, they are pretty easy to create. Check out http://www.realnetworks.com/products/camtasia/ for a free 30-day trial.

    4) Special reports - There are people making big money online by compiling small "special reports" that are 5-10 pages long. Maybe you've uncovered a technique in your market that others will find useful, but you don't have enough content to write a full length ebook. A special report can be created in just a couple days or less, and you can be selling it online in no time. You can use http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

These are just a handful of possible products you can create for your niche market. There are of course, many other options available to you. Get started right away using one or all of these methods. Your bank account depends on it.

10 Mind Blowing Ways To Increase Your Sales

    Writen by Larry Dotson

    1. Show your prospects how much enthusiasm you have for your product and business. If you're convincing enough, they will be enthusiastic too.

    2. End your sales letter or ad copy with a strong closing. It could be a free bonus, a discount price, a benefit reminder, an ordering deadline, etc.

    3. Please your complaining customers. You can refund their money, give them a discount, give them a free gift, solve the problem quickly, etc.

    4. Make your customers get excited about your business and they will tell their friends. Give them a free vacation certificate, a coupon, etc.

    5. Give your prospects extra confidence so they will order. Use endorsements, testimonials, a strong guarantee or warranty, etc.

    6. Build your opt-in list by allowing your visitors to sign up for a free e-zine, ebooks, software, contests, sweepstakes, etc.

    7. Give your prospects or customers a breath of fresh air. Don't be afraid to design your web site and ad copies different from everyone else.

    8. Allow your customers to get part of your total offer right after they order. If you have to ship the item, make one of your bonuses available online.

    9. Write and submit articles to e-zine publishers or webmasters. If you want it to be published, it should be like an article and not like an ad.

    10. Show your prospects that you are an expert, because authority can persuade people to buy. You could publish an article, write an ebook, etc.

Promote Your Web Site For Free

    Writen by Glen Snethun

How is your web site promotion going? Getting frustrated? I felt muddled too, until I discovered what few new web marketers know about —organic marketing.

Organic marketing is just as it sounds—"natural". In essence, you build a network of connections to your site using natural and simplistic methods. The best part is…it costs you nothing but your time.

Many individuals are still under the impression that to promote their web site, they either have to pay for each click they get on Google or they have to hire a web-site promotion firm at $1000+ per campaign in order to get exposure.

Take it from me, I started into the web marketing business with NO marketing knowledge. I taught myself. How did I do it? The answer is simple: START ASKING QUESTIONS!

Once I started asking questions and finding the answers, the pieces began fitting together. I soon discovered that there are as many options to marketing my web site as there are places to purchase a car—I don't have to go to just one purchaser or have one strategy.

I want to share my knowledge with all of you who are feeling discouraged. In my last article called, Alleviate Your Internet Marketing Stress, I provided an overview of organic marketing and some of the basics. Read that first to gain a broad understanding of the concept.

In this article, I want to give you an overview of steps to marketing your website using this approach.

First, start with an analysis of your site and your keywords. Your keywords will ultimately determine how relevant your web site is to interested customers. Use the keyword analysis tool called www.wordtracker.com to come up with a list of keywords you think people will type in when they search for your site.

Second, check your site to make sure those same keywords are located near the top of the page. That way the search engine spiders "bots" will be able to read them and immediately determine your relevance. Make sure your keyword density (# of keywords vs. total words) is appropriate, i.e, don't go overboard!

Third, create readable pages. Readable pages mean that your website pages can be easily read by the search engine robots or "bots". There is a complete checklist to making sure your pages are "readable". Get a checklist off of the Internet and go through it. Some examples of items to consider are: make sure you're not using frames, examine your title tags and description tag, ensure the navigation system on your site is not created using JavaScript, etc.

Fourth, register with search engines. Search engines represent the single most important source of new visitors to your web site. Your goal should be to get your sites submitted to (at least) the following engines: Google, yahoo.com, Teoma/Ask Jeeves, Open Directory project and MSN.com. These are the best places to start. Get onto each of their sites, and find out how to submit your site…and then do it.

Last, link to other sites and encourage them to link to yours. Establishing links to your site is one of the best ways to give the impression of a useful site. If you're site is a popular place to be for visitors to be, it will directly affect how high you rank in the search engines. There are strategies for doing this and you need to find out how to boost your position using link popularity. Again, get a list of how you do this off of the Internet. Some elements that may be part of your strategy could include: avoiding links with no value, connecting to a group of websites related to a particular subject, etc.

If you have particular questions about how this any of this is done, feel free to email me at my website below. In my next articles, I will be focusing more on the exact "how tos". In the mean time, don't give up. This type of marketing takes time. Get educated and you find yourself soon marketing like a pro!

Using Ezine Ads Effectively To Get Web Site Visitors

    Writen by Debbie Ducker

Ezine advertising is not a precise science, nor do you have to be a rocket scientist to post your ads in them. But if you are not willing to take a little time thinking out how to effectively use Ezine advertising to gain traffic to your web site, it can turn out to be a real waste of time.

Anyone that knows me, knows I am a huge fan of "Decide what you want, then go for it!". The key is to do your home work on the "go for it part". Without it there would not be much use for the decision of what you want. Ezine advertising is no different. Simply take a few steps to help you get what you set out to do "Place ads in Ezines."

Here are a few ideas from my own steps I take to place ads in ezines every week.

    1. Once I have found ezines to place ads in. I organize them in my browser's favorites in directories according to frequency of posts allowed. Weekly, Monthly, etc. (To save time, where possible, bookmark the exact ad posting URL.) Then on my desk I have a small calendar on which I place when I am allowed to post. i.e. The Ducker Promotion Ezine comes out on Wednesday and you can post each week. So on your calendar you might put DP Ezine on the Tuesday squares, to remind you to post your ad that week.

    2. I take my time in learning how to write good headlines and ad copy, via self research and study into it as well as testing of my headlines and copy too. Seeing which ones bring the most clicks and also conversion into signups and/or sales. I find the above out by using tracking URL's.

    3. I keep a ezineads.txt file with various ads listed, in multiple, common ezine formats, such as 5 lines 60 characters, etc. This way it is always on hand with quality ads that have produced for me in the past.

    4. Pay close attention to any rules that the ezine owner may have pertaining to posting your ad. If you don't follow their rules there is a good chance they will just discard your ad and move onto the next ad. I know as an ezine editor, we don't make these rules to torture you. :) They are simply a way of trying to find the most efficient way to place free ads for people. Out of the formula that works for each editor comes their set of rules.

Ok so there you have it. I can guarantee if you follow just the above steps you will be "Using Ezine Ads Effectively to Get Web Site Visitors" in no time at all. Everyone has their own little things that help them organize, so apply any that will help you to do the job better and you will be well on your way to good quality traffic to your web site.

How To Retain First Time Visitors To Your Website

    Writen by Bernard Peh

Everyone is trying to rank well in search engines so as to enjoy good amount of free traffic every month. But if you look at the server statistics carefully, you will notice that most people leave almost immediately upon entering the site. You cannot complain about your sales because the fact is that people in general do not like to stay in any sites for long.

    Remove The Clutter
The basic rule in creating websites nowsadays is to have as much content as possible so as to please the search engines. However, cramming too much content in a page without good techniques can scare your visitors away. This is also the common problem of most websites today. Research shows that people do not generally stay in a site for more than 30 secs but my personal experience tells me that it is 10 secs. The implication to this is that you only have 10 secs to pitch your idea and persuade them to stay.

Reveal Some But Do Not Reveal All
An effective website must achieve 2 things within the 10 secs. A) The user must know what your site is about. B) The user must be motivated to stay and investigate further.

To achieve A) cannot be done by lengthy stories. People are lazy and they do not like to read or scroll. So there must be an obvious sentence, catch phrase or graphic to tell them what your site is about. Once they are interested in your pitch, they will start reading the content.

For the content, I would suggest you to write just enough to arouse interest. If all your stories are told within a page, then they do not need to navigate your site anymore. This is similiar to watching movie previews. The preview has to excite the audience to pay and watch the full movie. If you can achieve B), you have a chance to make them stay and click on your links.

Guide The Eye To Important Content
People first look at the largest and boldest element on a page which is usually the logo, top banner or catch phrase as mentioned earlier. You should next direct the eye to the content. Text with highlighted headers can stand out prominently. The common technique to make a header obvious is to highlight the background of the header using a dark color and write the header text in white. Many popular portals such as msn and bbc are using this technique. White background on dark text is most effective for the main content because it has a very good contrast.

    Be Careful About Distractions
Remember the 10 secs rule. You do not want to distract your visitors within this time frame. Though advertisements are commonly used for marketing purposes, they are considered as distractions. Animated gifs is another type of distraction which can be very annoying. In fact, I do not encourage people to use animated gifs at all! If you really want animation, do a good job with flash instead. Unless your site is like Yahoo or Google, people will not bother to stay long if they are confused about what you are saying.

    Use Images
Playing around with colours and layout in your site is not enough. You need identifiable graphics such as humans and objects to make your visitors feel comfortable. Many people are very scared of using graphics because they are worried about the downloading time. Valid point but you do not have to use big images. Images that are about 10 kb in size is a good guide. To me, making your visitors happier by making them wait a few milli seconds longer is a good deal. Quality images that describe your content are very effective. It also makes your site less boring and create visual stops for your content.

    Conclusion
People are impatient and you really have a short time to make them stay longer in your site. The longer they stay, the higher the chance that they will buy your idea and use your services. The first impression is important and we all want it to be good.

    Online Paid Survey

    Writen by Helen Peshkova

    Basic Idea

Around the world, companies spend over $250 billion dollars a year trying to convince consumers to buy their products and services. And about $800 million dollars is devoted to market research. That's why your opinions on goods and services are so important and as highly paid for.

Before launching a new product or service, companies are willing to pay for online paid surveys that enable them to improve their products or services prior to releasing them for sale.

Today more people have Internet access worldwide. That's why online paid surveys have become a very fast and effective method to consumers is realized. And you have the opportunity to make money online by completing surveys for companies that need your opinion. Companies are paying billions dollars to market research firms to conduct online surveys. Then, those market research firms pay money to anyone that fills out their surveys online.

Understanding how people think and buy products and services helps companies improve their products and services and make more money. That's why companies are willing to pay people good money for online paid surveys because you help them to increase their profits.

There are over 7,5 million companies worldwide that actually pay consumers.

Everyone can do surveys online and get paid. Paid surveys are the perfect opportunity for stay-at-home moms, students, and anyone who is looking for a home part-time job.

    How does it work?

Companies that need a survey hire hundreds of market research companies. Then, the market research companies look for the participants to complete the online surveys. The participants are paid by the market researchers, in the form of a cheque or through Paypal. Then the market research companies analyze these data.

To gain the access to the market research companies you should subscribe to a Paid Survey Database. For a small, one-time subscription fee you are given an access to a comprehensive list of market research companies that will pay you for completing surveys online or participating in online focus groups.

Depending on your profile, you will qualify to complete different Online Paid Surveys for cash and other rewards. And you can select the time to complete the online paid surveys and which surveys you want to do.

You will get paid to give your opinion either in person, over the phone, or online. These require more effort on your part, but the cash payments are much higher.

You will get to participate in other kinds of studies including trying new products or watching movie trailers before they are launched.

To get started all you will need is Internet access and an email address. After registration you will get access to the information which provides the inventory of marketing companies that are looking for people like you to complete online paid surveys, participate in focus groups, review movie trailors, get paid to test new products and drive a car.

    Advantage

Paid Online Survey is a very interesting and easy job. Everyone can do surveys online and get paid. You need only access to the Internet and an email address. You can select the time to complete the online paid surveys and which surveys you want to do yourself.

    Disadvantage

You should pay for the most of the Paid Survey Database services. But this is a one-time subscription fee only and the most reputable companies offer a money-back guarantee. So you have zero financial risk.

    My Advice

The chances are high that some companies will tend to send so much unwarranted email that it could be considered SPAM. You should to have a separate email account as you will get a LOT of new email.

But remember that if you use a spam filter you also will not receive most surveys. So your spam filter should be turned off.

You should join several of the free paid survey or rewarded surveys which you can find below. They are free to join and are reputable.

Sign up with one of the more reputable paid survey database agencies.

You might choose to pay for "Paid Survey Database services", but never pay to take a Paid Survey or be on their waiting list.

You should visit each Paid Survey Database Services site and read about how they work.

Be wary if Paid Survey Database Services are free. They will most likely spam you or are just out to get referral commissions. Those paid survey services are no good because they may sell your email, spam.

Most paid surveys companies offer a 90-day money back guarantee. This is good because it sometimes takes up to 60-90 days to start getting the good surveys.

Consider the survey companies that have higher-quality websites and charge a one-time fee. The list of them you can find below.

You need to carefully read each actual Paid Survey you sign up for. Sometimes they will auto-fill a checkbox that allows them to sell your email. Be sure to uncheck it.

My recommendation is to visit the most of the paid survey services and then determine the best of them to go with. Be sure to sign up with a few of the Highest Quality Paid Surveys programs around. These are very reputable organizations that want your input and reward you for it. RichTrack's Top Paid Survey Sites will help you to find the best of them.

Simple Internet Marketing Secret Can Quickly Put Tens Of Thousands Of Dollars In Your Pocket

    Writen by Michael Senoff

Not long ago I was doing an Internet marketing consultation with one of my website subscribers.

He was selling a travel/vacation deal and was having problems selling enough of them to recoup his initial investment. He wanted to know some "advanced" methods of selling he wasn't getting from reading the books and reading the websites all the people in his industry were recommending he study.

Here's what I told him that just about anyone else can copy and adapt to any product in any industry: I said, forget about what everyone else is saying to do. Forget about all the different selling "techniques" and marketing secrets.

Instead, put up a simple website and do an Internet audio "infomercial."

In other words, get someone to interview you, whether it's someone you know, a professional in your industry with some credibility or even someone you pay money to interview you (i.e. a professional interviewer).

And all you do is make a simple outline of all the questions and the concerns that the most skeptical person has.

What questions do they ask the most? What are the most common objections? What is the biggest reason people say no? What is the biggest reason people say yes? What do happy customers say?

And so on and so forth.

When you are done, you now have a CD, an MP3 file or audio tape you can give to your prospects. You have a link to it on your site your visitors can download and listen to. And if you have good quality and some money to spend, you can even take it to a local radio station and get some real mass appeal.

    Bottom line:

Anyone can make good money simply by using Internet audio infomercials like this. They are cheap to make and easy to use. And just about anyone who sells anything can do it.

Michael Senoff is a sought-after Internet marketer, interviewer and business coach with more than 50,000 students on four continents. He is also an expert on showing people how to create their own high ticket information products from scratch using just your telephone. Use The Web To Boost Profit At Trade Shows

    Writen by Dick Wheeler

As soon as you make the decision to exhibit at a trade show, you have the opportunity to promote your company's website, increase your visibility on the Internet, and also use the Internet to sell your products or services. Clients who plan to attend a trade show often want to know the techniques of maximizing their trade show appearance on the Internet. Your trade show exhibit marketing efforts can definitely benefit from increased traffic to your website. By using the Internet you add another dimension to your trade show display before, during and after the trade show.

What are the ways the Internet can increase your trade show marketing efforts? Here's an idea for your website visibility:

By promptly posting your trade show attendance on a separate trade show web page on your company's website, you gain increased visibility due to search engines crawling your website for news of a specific trade show.

By putting a page on your web site with information such as your booth number, a map of the trade show floor, a picture of your booth, you will gain traffic by making it easier for your prospects and clients to find you. If your page is online early enough, at least two months or even better four months before the show you'll attract additional traffic, as the search engines will crawl and index your new show page and return the link to a search like CES XYZ Company.

Post your news on a separate web page on your website ideally four months prior to the tradeshow to give the search engines time to crawl your website. Some companies merely provide a link from their website home page directly to the website of the trade show. They miss the opportunity to promote their company's website and provide information to the website visitor.

A better way to go is to make a trade show reference on your website such as: We're exhibiting at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2006. Click here for details. This link would open a new web page in a new window giving full details with company contacts. Search Engines will give your company web page a higher ranking when searching for the specific trade show where you plan to exhibit. If this page is constructed appropriately, then it can itself be highly ranked in a search for Consumer Electronics Show (CES). So when business executives search for the CES Show, your company trade show web page will be high on the search engine ranking list. It's an opportunity for your company name to be seen and associated with the trade show. Visitors may also choose to click through to visit your webpage.

Another Internet tool is the use of email marketing to help you sell your products and services. Email targeted, industry- specific customer prospects an invitation to your trade show exhibit. Offer your customer prospects an incentive to drop by your trade show booth, such as giving them half of a gift coupon via email and ask them to pick up the other half at your booth for their special prize. Everyone loves to receive a gift and this technique builds qualified traffic to your booth.

You may also want to offer free Internet service at your trade show booth. By providing weary trade show attendees a valuable service, you have them pre-disposed to appreciate your company and its showcased products and services.

Then, be sure to accelerate sales to your client prospects by following up with emails the day after the show. Of course you have made sure your email list is honed from a tightly screened base. This strategy simplifies the sending of personalized e-mail messages to your highly qualified booth visitors.

By combining high tech techniques with face-to-face trade show exposure you are able to attract your customer prospects on a variety of levels that reinforce your company's presence.
